Our yellow maize milling plants process, refine and reliably deliver raw materials and maize meal across southern Africa. The mills produce high quality grits, maize flour, hominy chop and snack maize for use in consumer products like breakfast cereals, tortillas and soup.
Rand Agri has two yellow maize milling plants; one in Phuthaditjhaba, Qwa Qwa, and one in Bethal. Both mills specialise in processing and refining yellow maize. Our Maluti (Qwa Qwa) and Aldelox (Mpumalanga) mills are ideally situated for easy access to raw yellow maize.
We have food safety regulations in place at both mills to maintain the highest possible quality standards.
The mills have ample on-site storage facilities to save on overhead costs, and our Maluti Milling plant in Qwa Qwa produces and distributes our maize flour brand – Fantástico – to retailers in Lesotho, Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Angola.
